Cairo, Egypt – Climatic Peace is proud to announce that it has been awarded third place in the second edition of the Dr. Ali El-Samman Award for Peace, presented by the Anglican Episcopal Church and Al-Azhar Al-Sharif through the Christian–Muslim Center for Understanding and Partnership.
The recognition honors Climatic Peace’s pioneering youth-led initiative, “Youth Are the Green Faith Builders,” a project that promotes interfaith dialogue, environmental responsibility, and youth engagement as key pillars for peacebuilding and sustainable development.
The award was officially received on behalf of Climatic Peace by Dr. Ahmed Salem during a formal ceremony held at All Saints Cathedral in Zamalek. The event was attended by senior religious leaders, public figures, and representatives from both faith communities, reflecting the award’s commitment to strengthening dialogue, partnership, and shared values.
This achievement highlights Climatic Peace’s continued dedication to empowering young people as ambassadors of peace and climate action, and reinforces the vital role of youth-led initiatives in building bridges across communities while advancing environmental stewardship.
Climatic Peace extends its sincere appreciation to the organizing institutions for this meaningful recognition and reaffirms its commitment to fostering collaboration, sustainability, and peace-driven action across society.
