Climatic Peace recently made a strong impression at the Across the Sea Conference held in Genoa, Italy. The organization’s director worked with representatives from 18 Mediterranean countries to craft a manifesto on youth engagement in climate action, which was presented to university and diplomatic leaders attending the event.
One of the highlights of Climatic Peace’s participation was the recognition of its joint initiative with the Mediterranean Youth Foundation (MYF) in Egypt, the Climatic Clarify project. This ambitious project was selected as one of the top 3 projects at the conference, underscoring the impactful work being done by young climate leaders in the region.
The collaborative spirit and shared commitment to climate action witnessed at the Across the Sea Conference was truly inspiring. This reaffirms Climatic Peace’s belief in the power of regional cooperation to tackle the global challenge of climate change.
“This success at the Across the Sea Conference is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team and partners,” said the Climatic Peace director. “We are energized by this recognition and will continue supporting and empowering youth-led initiatives across the Mediterranean. Together, we will drive meaningful and lasting change.”
