The “Empowering Youth for a Healthy Climate Initiative” gathered 50 young healthcare providers in Cairo for a three-day training on the intersection of climate change and public health. Implemented in partnership with Egypt’s Ministry of Youth and Sports, UNFPA, and the World Health Organization (WHO), the program focused on equipping youth with skills to design community-based solutions addressing climate-related health challenges. Activities included workshops, discussions, and project development sessions, culminating in a competition where winning initiatives received funding. The program also produced a youth-led manifesto and launched a social media campaign reaching over 5,000 people.
