Climatic Peace, in partnership with The Reformation Community, is inviting young leaders, changemakers, and emerging professionals from North Africa to apply for the Reformation Community Leadership Summit (RCLS ’26) in Nairobi, Kenya.

Under the theme “Implementing the Africa We Want: Youth as Architects of Sustainable Development,” RCLS ’26 will bring together hundreds of young leaders and changemakers for conversations, workshops, cultural experiences, community engagement, and opportunities to connect with leaders and organizations working across Africa.

For North African applicants, Climatic Peace is supporting a dedicated delegation to participate in this continental platform.

Five funded opportunities for North African delegates

Climatic Peace will select five North African delegates for funded positions:

1 Fully Funded Position

One selected delegate will receive:

• • Return international flight to Nairobi

• • 4-star accommodation for the programme

• • Daily breakfast and programme meals

• • Airport transfers and local transportation

• • Full summit access

• • Leadership workshops and masterclasses

• • Conference materials and delegate pack

• • Nairobi National Park safari

• • Hell’s Gate and Lake Naivasha experience

• • Nairobi cultural and Karen District experiences

• • Community outreach experience

• • Health and travel insurance

• • Delegate support and coordination

The selected fully funded delegate will be responsible for their Kenya visa fee and personal expenses.

4 Partially Funded Positions

Four additional delegates will receive support covering:

• • Accommodation

• • Meals

• • Airport transfers and local transportation

• • Full RCLS ’26 summit access

• • Workshops and masterclasses

• • Conference materials

International airfare is not included for these positions. A 15% ASKY flight discount is available on applicable routes, while an equivalent arrangement for Egyptian applicants is currently being negotiated.

Self-Funded Participation

North African applicants who are not selected for a funded position may also have the opportunity to participate through the host’s self-funded delegate packages.

The official packages are:

• • Community Experience Delegate — $649

• • Kenya Experience Delegate — $899

• • Global Experience Delegate — $1,599

These packages offer different combinations of summit participation, accommodation, experiences, transportation and, in the Global Experience package, international flight.

Who should apply?

We are looking for applicants who can demonstrate experience, interest, or engagement in areas such as:

• • Climate action and environmental sustainability

• • Peacebuilding

• • Sustainable development

• • Youth leadership

• • Entrepreneurship and social innovation

• • Community development

• • Advocacy and civic engagement

Applicants should also have a concrete idea, project, initiative, or venture they want to develop further through the summit and a commitment to bring their learning and experience back to their communities.

Geographic and gender balance across North Africa will also be considered during the selection process.

What will happen in Nairobi?

The seven-day programme is designed to combine leadership development, learning, networking and community experiences.

The programme includes:

• • Leadership Summit and keynote sessions

• • Panels and workshops/masterclasses

• • Pre-conference networking

• • Nairobi city and cultural experiences

• • Community outreach at Nyumbani Children’s Home

• • Nairobi National Park

• • Hell’s Gate and Lake Naivasha

• • Award ceremony and other cultural activities

The summit is expected to bring together 800–1,000 delegates through onsite and online participation, creating a space for young leaders from across Africa and beyond to exchange ideas and build connections.

The application fee is waived for North African applicants

North African applicants do not need to pay the $10 scholarship application fee.

The waiver is applied automatically at the application stage, so no promo code is required.

3–5 October 2026 — Interviews and panel scoring
6 October 2026 — Selected delegates notified
4–10 November 2026 — RCLS ’26 in Nairobi (subject to final confirmation)
